I have been a licensed real estate broker since 1987. I was trained by my father who was influenced by top real estate trainers like Tom Hopkins and Floyd Wickman. I have also spent years in the insurance business with companies like Prudential and Mass Mutual. It is with these companies that I received years of formalized sales training. I stay active in the business community as an ambassador with The Chamber of Commerce and volunteer my time with the SMILES Mentoring Program for school children. I like spending time with my family, skiing, sunning and I am into martial arts.

John was originally licensed to practice Real Estate in 1967. He holds a degree in History and Secondary Education from Rhode Island College and a Masters Degree from Brown University. He was a senior national sales trainer for Gallery of Homes and is the founding President of Prudential Prime Properties. He currently is on the Agency State Task Force that is in the process of rewritting the State Law regarding agency relationships. John is an instructor in the Fundamentals of Real Estate Practices for the Newport County Board of Realtors and the GRI 201 program for the State Association. John sits on the local and state grievance committee which reviews ethics and arbitration issues for board members. He is an expert witness for local Planning Boards and Zoning Boards. He has been awarded Leading Edge and President's Circles designations placing him in the top 5% of the Prudential Real Estate Affiliates national sales force. John is the recipient of a number of Realtor awards including the Gloria Slavens Award, Newport County Board of Realtors Realtor of the Year and the 2006 Rhode Island State Realtor of the Year. He and his assistant Phyllis strive to provide their clients with the highest level of service.
Dave McCauley is a professional Realtor, who is partner/owner of Prudential Prime Properties. He is active in both management and sales. As a Sales Manager the offices have won numerous sales awards. Dave has been a Multi-Million Dollar Producer every year since entering real estate in 1973.
Dave is a former director of the Newport County Board of REALTORS, a past president of the Board and a former Realtor of the Year. Additionally, he is a past president of the Middletown Rotary Club. Dave holds the designations as a GRI and CRS.
Prior to starting a career in Real Estate I worked as a professional nurse for more than 20 yers. My decision to make Real Estate my next career choice was influenced by my love of working with people, being able to help them and my long time interest in all types of properties.
